Breaks my heart how many members of a family face the wrath of not just an abuser but a judicial system that often relies on heresay rather than facts.

Hello Den. This is not misinformation but is information which has been raised at the UN Human Rights Council, at the Hague Conference on Private International Law and again now following the visit of the UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women to the United Kingdom, where is issue was reported as a "colossal failure of justice" (https://www.ohchr.org/sites/default/files/documents/issues/women/sr/statements/20240221-eom-statement-uk-sr-vawg.pdf). My concern is exactly that the reckless and unlawful behaviours of officials in the "family justice" system are causing vigilantism and eroding trust in the justice system and democracy as a whole. Thank you for the opportunity to clarify that.

Your comment is exactly the same comment as many of us receive from the participants in the State sponsored child trafficking system: "aggrieved, dissatisfied, witch-hunt", blah blah blah. What you, and they, might have not considered is that with the advent of electronic communications parents WOULD get together and compare notes, evidence, tactics of the "authorities". We are not contributing to fear. We stand for the rule of law, justice, democracy, equity, and above all, the safety, welfare and harmonious development of children. Clearly, you do not.
